Here we do not use the word ‘must’. Every participant follows their own path, their spirit, their interests and their wish of how to do things. There are some who prefer to become familiar with the basics of drawing and others who follow their instincts and choose their own materials and themes.
On our shelves there are many objects which can be used for creating a still life; moreover, objects from your household are welcome. For creating pictures there are photos in our portfolios and books. I encourage everyone to use more than one at a time since we never just copy.
Those who love experiments are very welcome.
